Chemically inert, dry wollastonite from Pyrotek is less dense than aluminium and will not affect the quality of castings. Wollastonite (calcium metasilicate) is a dry white powder which outperforms red mud as a parting agent and adheres well to troughs and launders. Its excellent protection from skull buildup increases the life of trough sections and refractories.
