STAR™ 240 Rotary Degassing System
The STAR 240 is designed as an economical method of removing hydrogen from molten aluminium. This equipment features a spinning rotor degassing system designed to rest on top of crucible furnaces. The STAR 240 is designed to service multiple stations and requires shop compressed air to drive the 2 HP motor. It can degas a typical 900-pound aluminium furnace in half the time as similar units.
