Precast Holding Furnace Linings

Pyrotek precast refractory holding furnace lining has been developed for high and low-pressure die casters, and permanent mold operations. Cast to your specifications, the drop-in lining arrives pre-fired and ready for installation. The lining is then easily inserted into the prepared furnace shell. To complement the castable lining, Pyrotek offers a range of advanced insulating materials that help minimize heat loss and maximize the lining's efficiency.

Advantages

  • Linings for gas fired and electric furnaces
  • Minimizes downtime associated with casting replacements on-site
  • Reduces installation labor
  • Helps maximize holding furnace capacity
  • Withstands temperatures to 1704°C (3100°F)
  • Can help achieve shell temperatures as low as 48°C (120°F)
  • Non-wetting castable resists corundum growth
