SNIF® PHD-50
The SNIF® PHD-50 is a portable, rotary injector system designed to treat molten aluminium in-process furnaces. The PHD-50 with tilting head can be equipped to perform bi-gas metal treatment or solid refining agent injection. The spinning rotor head can be moved or tilted from vertical to horizontal positions allowing for angled operation in tight spaces. This mobile system can be easily relocated from station to station. The submerged propeller design promotes uniform mixing and circulation of the melt.

SNIF® HD-2000
The SNIF® HD-2000 provides automated metal processing in furnaces and a safe, efficient alternative to the manual use of flux wands.
Featuring an integrated degassing impeller, the SNIF HD-2000 offers the flexibility to simultaneously circulate and treat the melt. The SNIF HD-2000 injects treatment gas or solid refining agent below the metal surface to effectively reduce alkali metal content and improve inclusion removal efficiency.
The SNIF HD-2000 can be either floor mounted beside the furnace or mounted on the side wall of the furnace. In the standby position, the mixing shaft and impeller are completely removed from the furnace. For operation, the mixing shaft and impeller pivot into position. The impeller is completely submerged in the molten aluminium, maximizing the mixing action, while providing efficient degassing for metal cleaning.

SNIF® Ambient Air-Cooled Steel Body Assembly
Pressured air is an expensive medium, and the steel body assemblies of the past needed up to 15 m³ pressured air for cooling the bearings. We have developed a solution to reduce nozzle operating costs, make SNIF® nozzle assembly and operation more user friendly, and save the rare resources of our planet.
